Much of the litigation that arises in Chapter 7 proceedings originates with panel Chapter 7 trustees. In addition to having two partners on the Colorado panel, Sender Wasserman Wadsworth frequently represents several other panel trustees as general and special counsel. We have represented trustees in hundreds of cases and matters, including:
- avoidance and fraudulent transfer litigation
- recovery and sale of assets
- discharge objections
- property turnover disputes
- exemption objections
Often, trustees employ our firm before any assets have been recovered and the prospects for recovery are unknown. We welcome such high stakes litigation and often employ contingent fee arrangements to provide more flexibility for our trustee clients and better allocate risks.
